|How did you first day (back?) go?

Well, no time like the present to get everyone back and active. How did your first days go?|
Here's mine (pasted from my regular journal)
Back to school, day 1.
So, ten years to the day, I am back in post-secondary education. I was extremely nervous, but somehow made it through: no vomiting, no fainting, and proudly I did not turn back around to go home. Everything rather smoothly, and I was glad that I read the first chapter (or two) for each of the three classes I had. Due to late teacher selection, I don't have my books for tomorrow's class, but neither will anyone else.
The marketing teacher that I had concerns about seems okay, at least from a first impression. She did appear rather dense to the workings of a projector... (sadly, turning it on seemed to confuse her.) But she was animated, and actually had class participation. We were told to stand up, and if we had a certain response to a question, we had to move to a specific area of the room. We were asked questions like, "are you a coffee person? are you the oldest child? youngest? did you drive to school? did you work this summer? will you be working while at school? are you a morning person?" and their respective counter parts. It was fun. But really, who starts day number one showing all their true colors?
